ARCC Welcomes Two New Union Members

At its quarterly meeting in September, held at the National Democratic Club in Washington D.C., ARCC welcomed the American Flint Glass Workers Union (AFGWU) and the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Iron Ship Builders, Blacksmiths, Forgers and Helpers (BBF) as new participants. These two unions represent over 110,000 workers in the United States and Canada. Ten U.S. unions now participate in ARCC, as well as five U.S. companies and the Chlorine Chemistry Council, a trade association representing companies making over 90 percent of U.S. chlorine production.
